By the Force of Our Presence: Highlights from the Lesbian Herstory Archives. May 2019-December 2019.

As part of a curatorial team including Flavia Rando, Saskia Scheffer, and Ashley-Luisa Santangelo, Bakaitis coordinated the exhibit By The Force of Our Presence: Highlights from the Lesbian Herstory Archives, featured at the New-York Historical Society between May 24 andDecember 1, 2019. They also worked on the previously traveling exhibit Graphic Activism (Ace Hotel, The Graduate Center Library, Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts), in 2016-17, featuring posters, zines, and visual ephemera from the Lesbian Herstory Archives’ collections.

Part of a trio of Stonewall 50 exhibits at the New-York Historical Society, By the Force of Our Presence focused on the activism of queer women, showcasing 100 years of lesbian history. Among the Stonewall 50 openings in New York City in 2019, this exhibit was the only one to focus on the achievements of LGBTQ women.

Zines as Creative Resistance. January 2017-June 2018. In collaboration with Wanett Clyde. The Graduate Center, City University of New York. New York, New York.
